About

‘Connecting Past and Present Through Printmaking’

My name is Caz Davies, I am a Printmaker and Artist from Milton Keynes.

Through my work I am exploring the world as I observe and experience it. With a background in heritage, I am drawn to places marked by time: historic architecture, forgotten spaces, and the quietly persistent presence of the past. I’m fascinated by how these places hold memories and stories, and how they connect with the present.

Through figurative drawing and printmaking, I focus on capturing the details of the world around me, from the architecture to the human form. I look for marks left by time—whether it’s a weathered wall or the subtle lines of the human body—and use those to create work that feels tied to both history and today.

I want my art to connect with people in a way that makes them think about the spaces they occupy, the things they see, and the stories that have shaped them.

I am excited to announce that this month my print ‘Still Standing’ was chosen to feature in this year’s RA Summer Exhibition.

The print is inspired by the historic fishing net sheds at ‘The Stade’ in the heart of Hasting’s historic seafront. The print is part of a limited edition of 20, and are available to purchase through the RA website.

A limited edition giclee print will be released later this summer. To hear about this release first, please sign up to my mailing list.
